Select Amenities was founded in 1993 by Vince McIntosh. The company currently functions as a wholesale distributor for major consumer-brand companies as well as manufacturer\u2019s representative for several key amenity brands. Travelers throughout the United States and worldwide have enjoyed our products in upscale hotels and in first- and business-class service onboard leading airlines.<\/p>\n
Beginning in 1993, we were instrumental in developing the Rembrandt brand as a leader in the oral-care amenity segment. This involved working with the brand owner to launch a coordinated travel-size range in 1994, developing relationships with leading airline-kit and hotel distributors and communicating the Rembrandt story with airline and hotel company management teams. End-users have included many major airlines and upscale hotels, resorts, and conference centers. Between 1994 and 2004, over 100 million units of Rembrandt mouthwash, toothpaste, and toothbrushes were sold in the airline and hotel segment.<\/p>\n
Rembrandt was involved in the recent wave of consumer-brand acquisitions. The Gillette Company first acquired the brand in 2004, and then after Procter & Gamble acquired Gillette in 2005, Johnson & Johnson acquired Rembrandt in early 2006. During this period, Select Amenities emerged as a multi-brand source to the airline kit packing community. Select Amenities is under contract with Procter & Gamble to distribute brands including Scope, Crest, Oral-B, Glide, Gillette, Foamy, Old Spice, Secret, Herbal Essences, Pantene and Olay.<\/p>\n
They are launching Take Care\u2122 with P&G Brands, kits that insure travelers \u201cArrive Well Groomed\u201d with leading American brands and innovative packaging. And seeing a need for a competitively priced, botanical-based amenity, the Garden Voyage Botanicals\u00ae range invites travelers to \u201ctake a voyage through our garden\u201d while hydrating and refreshing during the journey.<\/p>\n
Kits with both brands are packed in Wilmington, Del., in facilities employing people with disabilities.
