We offer the simple joys of rest, relaxation, good food and natural beauty set in the elegance of the Old West. Built in 1875, the Henry Piper House underwent an award-winning restoration in 2007 to a three-bedroom guest inn. Our fine period antiques and reproductions will transport you to the charm of the Victorian era in the Silver State. We are conveniently located in Northern Nevada near Reno, Carson City and Lake Tahoe.

We serve an exceptional full breakfast with seasonal fruits, home baked pastries, and a hot entrée which changes daily. At tea time, sample fresh cookies, snacks, gourmet coffee, tea and cocoa served in the parlor. Fresh fruit, nuts, and candy are available at all times.

All B Street House guest rooms are upstairs, and feature private baths with tub/shower combinations, queen-sized beds, satellite TV/DVD, free high-speed internet, air-conditioning with private thermostat, fine chocolates, and many other amenities. Two rooms have large windows with picturesque views of the desert and mountains. Our middle room features a skylight.

Downstairs the parlor/dining room and a well-stocked library invite you to peruse local newspapers and books about Nevada and the American West. Or, sit in the sunny five-pane bay window and enjoy the bustle of B Street. A fine selection of family entertainment DVDs in the library are ready for guests to enjoy in their rooms. And at your request, your hosts will be happy to crank the antique Victrola for a musical treat.
