Holland House was built in 1900 as a turn of the century doctor’s residence, after numerous transitions, is now a family-operated Bed and Breakfast.
Located on a quiet street in Berlin, Maryland, Holland House provides you with all the comforts of a cozy inn within minutes of a wide variety of activities and points of interest.
The Inn is open year-round, and Innkeepers, Jim and Jan Quick invite you to come and experience the friendliness and charm of small-town living on Maryland’s Eastern Shore.
Holland House is situated in Berlin’s quaint historic district. A number of the homes, as well as the downtown commercial center, are included in the National Register of Historic Places. Meander through the town’s architecturally-rich historic residential area, explore the Calvin B. Taylor House Museum and enjoy the stately beauty of Berlin’s peaceful tree-lined streets. Holland House is a 100 yard walk from the Main Street
“Downtown” Berlin has a variety of antique, gift, and other fine shops, as well as several galleries, museum and the historic Globe Theater. A visit to any of these stops will prove to be a warm, cordial journey into the spirit of Eastern Shore life.
Five guest rooms are double occupancy, with queen size bed and private bath. We also have one room available with a king size bed. All rooms vary in size and decor, and are centrally air conditioned.
The historic Holland House Bed and Breakfast Inn offers accommodations that include cozy, well-kept rooms decorated with period and antique furnishings.
The Inn also offers three common rooms including one specifically designed for lounging and television viewing. In addition to the three common areas, guests are also welcome to relax on the front porch or in the rear garden / patio area. Garden and Patio area also has a hot / cold outside shower for beach going guests.
Central air conditioning runs throughout the house.
