Maplecroft Bed and Breakfast is a grand 1887 Victorian home built by Scottish immigrant and prominent Vermonter George Mackie, and features a circular tower, carved wood trim, high ceilings and period furnishings. Lovingly renovated, George Mackie's "Scottish Castle" is the perfect place from which to enjoy all that Barre-Montpeler and Central Vermont have to offer.

Reservations accepted until 11:00 a.m. on day of arrival.
All reservations require a 50% deposit by credit card.
They accept VISA & Mastercard.
If the reservation is cancelled more than 14 days prior to arrival, your deposit will be refunded less a cancellation fee of $25 per room. If cancelled between 14 days and 48 hours or arrival, your deposit will not be refunded. If cancelled less than 48 hours of arrival, your deposit will not be refunded and the remaining balance will be charged in full.
They ask that you check in between 4pm and 9pm. We cannot accommodate early check ins. Check out is 11am.
Children 12 years old and older are welcome. Children under 12 can only be accommodated in the Robert Burns Suite. No children’s menu is provided. (For children under 12 please call innkeepers.)
Breakfast is served at one seating at 8:00 a.m. If you need to leave earlier than 8:00 a.m. we will provide a Continental breakfast with advance notice.
Pets cannot be accommodated.
Smoking is not allowed on the premises.
